Happy Hump Day!

Lake Shore Path Chicago Sunrise

This morning I changed up my morning route and went out to the path and took in some beautiful views.

Lake Michigan and Sunrise

It was so calm and peaceful out there, and just what I needed before I started my busy day. In the morning I usually take my route north and head up to Wrigley Field…

But this morning I wanted to switch things up and see the sunrise. The reason I go north is because the street I run on is more populated and I feel safer in the early morning hours when there are people around. But during the summer there is always people out on the Lake Shore path no matter the hour so I wasn’t alone.

Once I got back from my sweaty run I completed Day 19 of #GettinStrongInAugust. I had to take a rest day earlier in the week so I will be back up to speed tomorrow with Day 21.

Day 19 Getting Strong In August

If you guys missed the initial challenge don’t fret you can find it here. Who cares that it is already August 20th. This 31 day challenge can be started whenever. There have been a few days where the challenge is close to the last thing I wanted to do right then. But it wouldn’t be a challenge if it wasn’t tough. I have noticed some changes too! My arms and abs have a little more definition. Not I think this is from an accumulation of all my strength workouts from this summer, but this challenge has definitely added to it.

Now time for an apology – I want to apologize in advance if I am a little more MIA these next two weeks than usual. I am still hoping to post everyday but with lots of travel, work, school, and moving some days it might not be possible. And I don’t want to just post something to post – I always want to provide valuable content that hopefully will help you in someway. Also, thanks for the continuing supports and comments. I love them, and promise I will respond. It might just take a little bit longer than usual.

With that being said I am really excited for my upcoming posts ideas. In fact, this morning I started to title them. Now I just need to add the content. Here is a little sneak peak of what you can see on LSR in the next few weeks:

  • Sproing Sport HIIT Workout Review
  • Fabletics Review
  • Runner Must Haves for Beginners Series (Gear, Apps, and 5K Training Plan)
  • Special Guest Post
  • Physical Therapy for Runners (Stretches, Scraping, and Dry Needling)
  • Moving Tips
  • Day In The Life: One Direction Concert / Similar to this girls story but my own experience. Yes I am 25 and going to a 1D concert, but at least not alone. #TeamHarry

I hope these topics interest you and get you coming back to LSR everyday for more. I know I know teasing you with this list will probably keep you from sleeping at night because you are so anxious to read the next post. My only advice is to count sheep backwards….

Catch you guys tomorrow with my Sproing Sport review!
