It is hard to believe that Spring is fast approaching, at least for those in the Midwest and East Coast, with these frigid temps. Well let me brighten your day….there are only 16 days till Spring! My favorite season.

Spring

Warmer temps means less clothes (please still wear your undergarments – or maybe forget them like me) – arms showing in tank tops…legs showing in dresses and skirts…you get my point.

Want to tone up before swimsuit season? Or burn off a few of those extra pounds that might have snuck up in the winter?

Winter = Eat comfort food to stay warm (this is my own math equation – I think it makes sense)

I have something for you! As a member of Girls Gone Sporty Ambassador group I was given the opportunity to try out Breakaway Boot Camp by Laura Williams, Health Fitness specialist and founder of Girls Gone Sporty.

The Girls Gone Sporty Store - Breakaway Boot Camp

The Breakaway Boot Camp is a 4 week program that provides a day by day fitness schedule each week along with nutrition tips from Laura herself. Each day will have a specific focus (i.e. Upper Body, Lower Body, Total Body, etc.) with rest days incorporated.

Each day Laura provides a workout, that will take about 30 minutes, at three different levels – beginner, intermediate, and advanced. A workout for anyones fitness level.

At the end of each week you will complete a fitness assessment to track your improvements throughout the program. And then at the end of the 4 weeks you can see how much you progressed.

Still want to know more about this program before going all in? You can see the program dashboard here and how the 4 weeks are divided up. The program typically is $100, but has been discounted for the time being to $29.99 and with the 10% coupon code (TEAM10) it is only $26.99.  That is like 5 Starbucks coffees – I like to judge things in coffee increments. If interested you can sign up for the program here.

Disclosure: There are affiliate links in this post but I was not compensated to write this post. As always I would never promote or write about something I did not believe in. I even tried out a few of the workouts while I was in Florida watching the rain come down outside.

QUESTIONS

  • What is your favorite thing about Spring?
Afternoon thunderstorms – cuddling up and watching the storm come in!
  • What body area do you like to work out best?
Hmmmm that is a tough one. I am gonna say legs. I can do many more squats that pushups or sit-ups.
